The wheel spun and Noah stood there, having received nothing. A tinge of disappointment rolled over his features and pulled his lips down at the corners, but he stood where he was. Perhaps having grown up in Halo, as a hunter, the man was well acquainted with disappointment. After all, Noah had never been the man who has good at everything he attempted to do on the first try. But he was stubborn, and persistent, when it mattered. Deimos approached him and stood there after his own spins, equally as empty handed. The demigod slapped his friend on the shoulder before speaking up again. [say]"Well, perhaps I will try again."[/say]

It was a strange thing to witness, but Maeve has always been a fan of games. The Nightshade purses her lips, watching closely as each person steps up to pay, arms crossed over her chest. Finally, she steps up once Noah clears the way, [say]"Might as well give it a go. Can't have any reward without a little risk."[/say] Maeve drawls, reaching forward to give the wheel a hard spin, glancing back at the others as she waits for her potential prize. There is a nervous flutter in her stomach and she feels her palms begin to sweat, a surprising reaction given how these things don't typically bother her, but the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end as her jade eyes follow the wheel around and around until it finally stops.

Locke loves to gamble and there simply aren't enough places to do it that don't involve knives. Or something. Doesn't matter. There's a big ass wheel and he's gonna spin it because why the fuck wouldn't he? He gives Maeve a little pat on the back as he walks passed her. He can't tell if he's excited or nervous. Excited. He's excited. What's the worst they could do? Kill him. He quickly shoves that thought aside, having not seen anyone get splattered just yet. He reaches up on his tippy toes, grabs the wheel, and spins it. The colors whirl by and he can only wonder what he might get.

Seeing so many others test their luck without being maimed, Sah figures he might as well test his luck. The odds didn't appear to be in the favor of a prize but at least they also didn't' seem to be towards major consequences either. At least, not yet. If he'd just jinxed himself, he'd scream.
Jumping down from his tree perch he walks over to the hosts and their wheel. There was still a chance that it was a trap, so he kept his guard up as he approached, [say] "I'd like to give it a try please."[/say] With that, the Abandoned reaches over and begins to spin the wheel, hoping that it wouldn't come back to bite him in the ass.

Sah raises a brow at the host but doesn't complain when the odds seem to go in his favor. [say]"Thank you. I'll take that free spin."[/say] He states simply and reaches over to spin once more. It seems a little risky to give it another try but a free spin is too tempting to waste. As the wheel spins he hopes his luck holds up. A prize was preferred, nothing was tolerated. But a punishment would be highly inconvenient to deal with.
Lilly sent him a wave of reassurance through their bond. The wolf was watching from a safe distance away, curled up under the tree that Sah had previously been resting in. She seemed to find this entire Carnival entertaining at least.

Ray had heard rumors about this carnival and its Wheel of Fortune. Being from Torchline, how could she pass up such an interesting gamble? Making her way leisurely to King's End the Attuned sees that many people have already arrived. Some seem disgruntled, others satisfied. It appears that this game of luck had led to various results.
Stepping up to the wheel she reaches over. [say]"May I?"[/say] She asks the hosts before spinning the wheel. Hopefully she'll get a prize or at the very least, not a punishment. But a mysterious wheel in the middle of the Wilds likely offered the possibility of both.

Nikolai had always loved games ever since he was a child. Games of chance were a bit nerve-wracking but when he heard that there was a prize wheel out in the Wilds? The young Ascended had to give it a shot. What could possibly go wrong? Well, a lot could. Especially given the low number of Ascended present.
Yet the possibility of a prize was too tempting, and Nikolai couldn't resist. Upon arriving, he has to take a second and watch the wheel. For some reason it's bigger than he'd expected. This was a carnival though, so it made sense for it to be massive. Stepping forward he nods to the hosts, [say]"May I, please?"[/say] With that he reaches over and gave it a spin.
