'Grace' wasn't a quality that was usually applied to Tal, so he'd take Zavien's good opinion of him and run with it for as long as it lasted! As his friend finally capitulated the courier grinned in triumph. "Wait'll y'see this place," he confided as he led the way out of the shrine. "Ru's not runnin' it anymore, but th'person who took over has kept it up pretty good. There's plenty o' frufru stuff if that's your thing, but there's also a great public bath in there, built over a hot spring an' it's fantastic after a cold day's work!" Massages, facials, nails, and general pampering were all available at the spa, but Tal figured they didn't have time for all the rest today. A quick scrub, a relaxing soak in the heat, and then they'd be ready to face his sisters!
As they walked along Tal spoke with broad hand gestures as he described his sisters to Zavien: three of them, all older, and each with her own quirks that he recounted with a mix of exasperation and loving fondness in order to warn the Breaker of what he was walking in to.
When they did finally reach the general store - Seawright's Sundries - and the cozy home above the young man would find himself warmly welcomed and treated like a guest of honor by the Seawright clan, who were clearly surprised but pleased that their wayward little brother had managed to make a friend instead of another enemy for once!
