So long sad city of angels, you aint been very good to me
Honestly, Varus doesn’t have a whole lot of experience when it comes to preventing and crafting traps. What he does have experience in, is from the other side. Slipping through the cracks to get in close, so he sits back on his heels, staring at the animal paths, arms folded across his chest and he simply puts on that thinking cap of his.
He’s coming up empty time and time again, so he gathers the spots he’s designated, returns to the group with a slight frown. “Not sure that’s gonna work.” He comments, about the scent. “There’s uhhh, that strange kind of tumbleweed I noticed when I first got back. Nasty little shits.” He pauses, snapping the fingers on his fleshy hand as the thoughts hit him. “Could it be possible to keep a few of them around the barrier’s edge as a ward against the animals? They’ll know to avoid it, but perhaps if we’re lucky, someone else barreling through might not notice it right away?” To this he looks at both Amun and Isla for their input.
Varus suggests setting up little hoards of tangleweeds to ward off the animals and act as an extra little trap/help for hiding the caltrops.
