It's a cold, foggy night when Finn arrives home from the White Hart, his guitar on his back and a scarf around his nose and mouth. In his hands he carries a carefully sealed paper bag with Tobi's favourite meal (and he'll be striking a mark on her list when he gets a chance), and so it means that, in order to get into their apartment, he has to sort of persuade the door open with his hip.
"Hello," he calls out as he steps inside, trying to wriggle the scarf down from his mouth so he can be heard properly. "Sorry I am late - I was asked to play an encore." And, surprising no one more than Finn these days, he had obliged.
Setting down the bag and guitar, the detective spends a moment hanging up his coat and scarf (obviously) before shaking out his curls and turning to find the doctor. Finn looks almost intentionally rough and tumble these days; his hair is a little longer, the scruff on his chin is a couple of days old, and there are callouses on his fingers. For the first time, though, one might be tricked into believing he's comfortable in himself.
