Her playful sneer is met with his cocky smirk, head tilting as he surveys her curiously to hear whether or not she’s about to complain about his motivations or how he’d simply just decided to remove her from the situation. But, the only complaint she has is that he hadn’t warned her. And oh, if only she knew. It’s a thought that has that smirk widening, mirroring her in the way he folds his arms across his chest, a dark brow rising as he watches her lift up on her tiptoes. “Pierce.” He offers his name, leaning down to meet her halfway in that fleeting look, smirking to himself.
He already knows her name, given the time spent together and the fact that it’s kind of important that he knows a lot of things he shouldn’t. But, he doesn’t want to give up the fun too quickly, and waits to hear her name before he considers actually leaving, to return to whatever place he intends to sleep for the night.
