As for Safrin, Hadama let his quiet confidence speak for itself. Evie was no less worthy then he was of the goddess's ear, and he hoped that She would grant the mother-to-be Her attention soon.
"And I am happy for you," he rumbled fondly, nodding down at the full swell of her belly and the small life within. "I look forward to spoiling them rotten," he added, the mischief back in his eyes as they took the chance to enjoy a peaceful day without the weight of the world - or at least their respective regions - on their shoulders.
