With three large gifts in his arms, Zavien proceeded to follow the trail. His breath came out in labored clouds of white fog, obscuring his vision, but he did his best to keep his head always in motion to scan his surroundings. The strange whistling and darkening of the ground around him caused him to quickly notice the incoming attack(?). He gasped and tightened his grasp on the gifts before picking up his speed to avoid the maelstrom of snowballs and chaos sure to follow.
If everyone collecting gifts was being attacked, was it possibility that the sleigh accident wasn't an accident? Just the possibility made Zavien more worried about the drive. He began running towards to wreckage, his presents shifting uncomfortably in his arms.
