Ronin wasn't an archer.
His parading around with his bow and his quiver of arrows had been all well and good when he was kidding himself that it would make a damned bit of difference to a fight and to getting hurt. But ultimately he had fallen down the steps of the Spire and smacked his head like a lemon all by himself. It hadn't mattered what weapon he was carrying.
And so, feeling very good about it, Ronin was in the training grounds outside the guildhall, punching the ever loving crap out of one of the training dummies.
"It's nothing against you," he panted to it, "it's just sorta your job. Y'know?" It was practically old times now, Ronin holding conversations with his props.
The cooling of the air with Leafchange was very much welcome, but the guildmaster was still beaded with sweat from his exertions as he sparred.
