dont know where the lights are taking us
but something in the night is dangerous

The Queen was gunning for the dragon’s tail, dodging teeth and trying to use its size against it when the room is flooded with light. A familiar light. She screeches to a halt, all thoughts of flying through that portal gone in the face of her floating, ethereal goddess. Her face tilts up to gaze at Her, the struggles of the past hours all of a sudden so very worth it, to hear her name on her Lady’s lips, to see the pride she’s worked so hard to earn.
She shakes her head. “Only because you made me bright. Gave me power and had faith. Without you, I would be dead. Nothing.”
There are no second thoughts, nothing that gives her pause. The Queen reaches out to take the Voice’s hands, trusting mortal palms to divine ones.. “Anything.”
And she has proven that willingness, time and time again. Even in her times of doubt, it has always been true.
