It's lucky, really, that Ronin's nimbus does not feel pain or annoyance, and it bobs along just as patiently as ever under Melita's curiosity and interest. Frankly, the Star is happy to let her get on with it, because it's taken him nearly this long to stop from bothering the cloud himself. "There always seems to be more unknown to explore, doesn't there? It's been a long time since Remi and I got the opportunity to see it for ourselves." He's sure, in their travels, that he'll find the time to poke fun at his husband and the way he has followed in Ronin's footsteps (in giving up leadership, that is). But for now he'll give him a grace period.
"I imagine it will be especially pretty in LeafChange," he agrees, reaching up to tickle Sugar under the chin, pulling his hand back just quick enough not to get nipped. Raising an eyebrow across at her at the mere thought of ghost whales - he remembers his last encounter with one all too well - Ronin can only cross his fingers for her. "Well, may your next adventures be on calmer seas," he says.
