Ah, she was glorious and triumphant, a beaming grin on her features as she shimmied beneath the fiery rope, turning back to watch, and survey the competition –

Her eyes narrowed, brow furrowing. “Jackass,” she mumbled quietly, on a hiss, somewhere in the midst of all her success, feeling slightly put out. She’d conquered certainly, but to have it given to her?

It read more like a slap in the face.

The ignition going out of her win quickly, she only offered Tanau a slight smile, and Talyson nothing at all. “Thank you for hosting this,” she uttered to the seasonal deity, before stepping back and away.
