The next time Koa opens his mouth, his words are, predictably, sarcastic and dripping with attitude. Their impact falls flat, however, when he goes in to strike so quickly it becomes imprecise, and Octavius is able to parry. It leaves an opening in Koa's guard for just a moment, and Octavius takes the opportunity to attack with another thrust of his weapon.
He aims for the very center of Koa's chest and connects with a short stab that stays gently pressed into Koa's chest. Octavius meets eyes with him and does not smile.
