Someone, sooner or later, was bound to figure out how to work the mysterious area, and then there’d be more circumstances unfurling. But she shook her head, and one of her hands came down to the nimbus again, poking into its contents like a small, curious, and irritating child. But she couldn’t be annoyed or dismayed at them, so the smile that reappeared was a soft one, gilded gaze intending to meet Ronin’s before dashing off to the sky. “Good. I’m glad you did too. You deserve it.”
Didn’t they all deserve to be happy, in these miserable, melancholy voids? At least they’d found a way to manage it, find it, and keep it.
The youth said nothing more on leadership roles – she’d smash the frustrations down in her chest to somewhere else, likely to break over Sunjata’s head when given the opportunity. Instead, she opted to concentrate on the Greatwood, on journeys and travels they’d be making. That she’d be starting again. “I'm sure it’s still lovely. I bet you’ll have plenty of beautiful areas to stay.” The notions of traversing on the seas again buoyed her with something else, and her fingers were suddenly dancing on the cloud, light and airy, instead of poised in obnoxiousness. “Yes. Hoping to avoid the ghost whales this time.” A laugh, grin still there, a touch radiant, a touch otherworldly for half a moment, like she was somewhere else. “We’re always headed towards new adventures.”
