They leave sand and rock behind them, the ground a little softer under their feet as they continue past the lighthouse. In the distance Ronin can already see home, along with the long smouldered mess of his friend's house next door. He stifles the pang of guilt that he couldn't be around to stop the tragedy from occurring; something was bound to happen, he tells himself, with so many sick. Especially when among those were Sunjata and Nate, and really, the Flood and his now-husband can find trouble just by walking down the street.
"A lot more, I hope," he says with a playful grin across to the honeybee girl, shrugging his shoulder against Sugar to prompt her to trill at Fangorn in return. The white dragon is lofty and mercurial on a good day, but she's a softy underneath. That's what Ronin tells himself, too. "It would be boring, if we decided to go and travel and it turns out we've already seen all there is." His eyes do widen at hearing Melita managed to summon Ludo, however, and he nudges her gently in congratulations.
"Well, then. You should be perfectly fine out on the sea," he says, before nodding at the nimbus. "What have you got there, anyway?"
