"Not today you shouldn't. I'll stand in the way of anything that tries to ruin it," Ronin assures his husband, smirking into his bowl at the feel of cold toes over his own. He tries to playfully capture Remi's feet between his own - the Huntsman, of course, is toasty from his phoenix shift and from being the one inside rather than sorting out the firewood. after another few bites of food, he nods his agreement.
"Stormbreak it is. Maybe we can let him choose a couple of days each week to come and stay here too, so he's got more of a routine," he suggests, reiterating their earlier conversation. With another smile and a foot trying to sneak up the length of Remi's calf, he lets out a wistful sigh. "Ah, a weekend away in the jungle sounds nice in the middle of Deepfrost, doesn't it? And I'm not sure if his friend would like, but we can always ask."
Dunking his bread in the broth, he uses his free hand to nudge the paper bag with the balloons and food colouring. "Will these look as good now that it's getting dark?" he wonders. "Or shall we do this tomorrow morning? You can impress me with your balls while I dig us a hotsprings trench."
