The guard resists and looks very uneasy about it, naturally, but the Hunter is insistent because, in his words, 'it's Christmas'.
Planning to check things out the second he leaves, the guard does at least leave, and Ronin looks quietly proud of himself when the door clicks shut behind him. "Here," he says, offering out the brightly wrapped present. "Sorry I couldn't bring it yesterday. They were doing all that poking and prodding and testing to make sure my bones weren't trying to escape."
