"Let them come. I've got scarier things hiding under my bed than you or them."
The set of his jaw might well suggest otherwise, but he holds his nerve steady for now. "Is that it?" he continues, raising a brow. Because if it is, as the shapechanger should well know, it's not as though Ronin is just going to let it go free. And while they might be no match for it in a fight - not with Remi as he is, and with a silver blade in his belly as well - Ronin, as ever, still has countless tricks up his sleeve.
