As Isla performs her tests, the wendigo finds himself gawking at her when her eyes are averted. Though she looks exactly the same as she always has, somehow she doesn't. With his senses muted, so too has Isla become muted but not in a way that he minds. If anything, it allows him to actually look at her without becoming distracted by the number of pores he can easily see on her nose, or the sound her eyelashes make when she blinks.
