He jests, ignoring but absolutely hearing what the ramifications of disobedience were and knowing intimately what that was like.

"Well, while we are on the subject and given that I quite literally cannot help eavesdropping...don't...don't try and protect me in this. Honestly, for as bad as you say she is, my life cannot get much worse than it is now, so if it comes to you bearing the weight of anything more or me doing it..." Not really knowing how to say it, the wendigo just grumbles as he continues to climb down.
