"Though you probably already know that," he adds, again wondering how he's managed to go from fully functional adult to someone who perpetually walks around with their foot in their mouth.

"Hey there," Fox murmurs to Vi'dore, though he doesn't reach out for the creature, knowing better than that. In the jar at his hip, though, the flinthoppers do make a bit of a racket.
