Somehow, Alys always felt like she came away from a conversation with Deimos a little wiser than before, and today was no exception. Where she fumbled for ideas, he was already well-versed in what might work and what might go wrong. She chewed the inside of her cheek as she thought, considering his words and all that they implied.
She had indeed seen the end result of a land without leadership, though she hadn't truly realized what it meant before coming to Halo. But it was also true that leadership wasn't always what it was cracked up to be. But without anything of value to add to the conversation, Alys simply nodded. "Maybe." It would be good for Halo, too, if the other lands could settle their leadership, especially if their leaders were friendly. At the very least, there would be opportunities for trade.
