The noise of Deimos's snort echoed through the caverns, coaxing a small smile to Alys's face as well. She wasn't entirely sure what it was that the man had found so amusing, but it was easier to be entertained than it was to continue thinking about leadership and leaderless lands. That line of thinking was beginning to give her a headache.

No, thank you." She was sure there was more to leadership and politics than simple responsibility, but that was even more reason to stay far away from it.
