Alys was a great deal less busy than Deimos, so when he suggested that perhaps she could use a rest, too, she snorted derisively. Sure, she'd like to travel perhaps a bit more than she did at present, but that didn't mean she was unhappy with her day-to-day life. She was perfectly content with what she was doing. Besides, it was only temporary; once she had established her divination business, she wouldn't need to pick up extra work on the side. It was just slow going, getting people to trust her enough to make use of her Sight.

But that was enough for one day, and as they meandered out of the caverns, she shook her head. "No, I'm good. I think I'll head home now. Would you like to go together, or are you planning to stick around?" Either way, Alys was more than happy to return to Halo - and escape the gods-cursed heat.
