Maeve is the only parent with a reliably utilized weapon, so his only experience is with fighting - though luckily, he knows quite a few different styles because of it. The stance he slides into is reminiscent of boxing, with hands high to his face and tightly coiled. "Ready?" Gauging when Ronin is prepared, Jude strikes first with a dual-footed hop forward and a speedy right hook toward the demigod's head.
