Dygra, at least, does manage to distract him, the Maverick offering Maea a fanged half-smile as he gazes down at the garment in her bag. "She's quite something, isn't she," he rumbles. "Though I hope you'll forgive me when I say you're sure as shit not killing me to cover it in blood." That's not to say he won't help her with the matter, but you know, first things first.
Speaking of which, he grips the bark of the log with white knuckles as she gets to work, head turned away, jaw feathering. "Mm? Me?" he manages. "Nah, this is my first time." It's making quite an impression.
