Elijah Port is an average man in stature, standing at six feet tall and weighing one hundred and sixty-five pounds. He is of African descent, boasting milk chocolate-colored skin, though he has blue eyes not common in relation to his ethnicity. He sports long, dreaded black hair and a thick and wiry beard. He is muscular, but not overly-so, and often wears thicker material for clothing to make himself appear larger.
Personality
Elijah knows what he wants, and he knows what he's good at, but he never makes a big show of it. Humble would be the best word to describe him, though he wouldn't even call himself that if you were to ask him. Instead, he'd assure you that he's just well-versed in the way the universe works, and he'd throw in something about "being lucky to be here". He's a gracious soul, always thanking someone for something, and he doesn't easily forget when favors are given. Similarly, however, he doesn't forget when something is done to him or the ones he loves.
History
Elijah can't recall where he came from before Halo; he was only sixteen when he arrived. All he knows is that he ran away with his beloved Ette, and they were spat out into Caido. Now, Elijah doesn't even try to remember where he came from; he's too interested in where he's going. He took up a job as a fisherman in the Hollowed Ground and worked for many years in the lowly job, until Halo was discovered. He was among the crowd to inhabit it, and became a hunter as well as a fisherman.
