A nod is given to Aamu, an easier smile. It’s probably easier that way, but the idea of remaining in the dragon shift for a week certainly was an interesting one. Of course, it makes sense, but there is that distinction between how it might change the man before him to remain in such a large form for so long. He supposes that having no issues with exhaustion definitely is a perk, considering how tired Sunjata often became when he spent a long while in such a large shift.
Regardless, he finishes his glass and lets his steel gaze scan over Aamu for a brief moment. “[say]It certainly should.[/say]” He assures the Ascended, before lifting a tattooed wrist for the other man, flecked with silvery scars just as the rest of him was. “[say]Shall we, then?[/say]” Comes the follow-up question, a flashing grin sent Aamu’s way as Sunjata prepares himself mentally for what the bite will absolutely do to him.

Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
So all is settled, then: just the deed remains. Aamu would like to skip that part, just fast-forward, or get something which lets him just lick it off their skin. He knows what will happen, to them both. It's annoying enough for Aamu, and he can't even imagine what it feels like as a married man.
[say]"Here?"[/say] he asks in mild surprise, not expecting Sunjata to merely hand his wrist over at the bar like that. But—they are alone, for better or for worse. He hopes Nate will not hold it against him. And when Sunjata indicates that, yes, here is more than good enough Aamu nods and gently takes his hand to support his arm. [say]"I'm sorry,"[/say] he simply says quietly before lowering his head, unsure whether apologizing makes it better or worse.
It's been a very long time since he did this, and yet it feels like no time at all when his fangs breach the scarred skin, hunting for a vein and finding it.
But it does feel like forever since that heady feeling swept through his body.
He's prepared enough: just holds still and quiet, drinking as much as he needs for the interfacing to be completed while trying to ignore everything else.
(It's hard to ignore your own body, though, when for fucking once it actually feels something—)
and it's beautiful, divine, overwhelming, everywhere, deep and pleasurable and spreading through every inch of him
And this is why Aamu does not drink from people anymore, yet there he is, backed into a corner with his teeth in another man's vein.
Once it is all done Aamu releases Sunjata, and wipes his lips on a corner of his dark coat before straightening up again. He takes a moment to make sure Sunjata is okay, and the bleeding under control, before politely (awkwardly) taking his leave as the Attuned heads upstairs anyway. He feels it would've been nice to pretend it never happened, talk about something else, not just come here and bite and go, but Sunjata wasn't too keen on sticking around and Aamu secretly relieved to not have to navigate that.
The cold air outside would've been a blessing, had he only been able to feel it.
He understands why there were Ascended who fell into the decadence of harem-keeping, and he hates himself for it.
Thrusting his hands deep into his pockets Aamu disappears into the surrounding houses and the wilderness. Frustrated beyond words.
