From Attuned to Ascended to Ancient, Kiada Njovu-Reyes has been reborn several times throughout her short life, but her fighting spirit has never once been diminished. With beauty, grace and a quick wit, Kiada is the whole package wrapped in an infectious smile. Recent endeavours have found her in the heart of the Hollowed Grounds, aiding the region and bettering it for her new Ancient kin, and whatever she does next, we know it's sure to pack a punch.
Congratulations, Kiada!

Court of the Fallen was created in October of 2018 by Odd, Honey, and Crooked.
Skinning and hosting by the epically talented Kaons, and functionality fanciness by the coding magic of Neowulf. If you ever see either of them around, make sure to show them some love!
The sensation of tickling on his skin was one Adam did not expect, and he laughed as he squirmed about, still climbing up. "That's gotta be cheating." He insisted, bounding back to his feet and beginning to run again, scrambling this time up onto a roof and walking carefully balanced on the central tiles, arms out and feet one after the other.
Hopefully, the height would stop Lucas' shadows from reaching him, and give him a chance to get up and away.
good evening, misadventure.
farewell morality.
it's time for another risky venture,
into the depths of depravity.
"It probably is - but you'd have done it too if you had the chance!" Lucas laughed up to Adam, still strolling as the other man squirmed and tried to get out of reach of his shadows. Still, when he broke into a run and showed off his agility by clambering up and onto a rooftop, Lucas was forced to follow suit. The devil didn't run unless he absolutely had to, so kudos to Adam for getting him to do this much exercise.
He'd managed to swing up and onto the beam Adam had recently vacated, balancing carefully and darting along a wall just beneath the rooftop. His shadows in the meantime jumped and snapped at the other man's heels. Adam would be home free if he reached the end of the roof successfully - and if not... well. Hopefully he would be.
Adam reached the end of the roof, but then he discovered it really was the end - before him there was only the ground an unappealing amount of distance down. The nearest beam or wall was too far to jump, even for him.
In a truly desperate situation, he might have jumped off and hoped for the best. But the potential broken leg wasn't worth it for this. He turned around, hands up, to face Lucas. "I guess you got me a dead end, there."

The shadows circled Adam like sharks, swiping here and there at him, as if they might independently persuade him to take the leap off the roof. But as Lucas closed in (climbing wasn't his strong suit and so he stopped when Adam was in plain sight lest he fall on his ass as well) they retreated back around their master, and the Ascended ducked his head in a respectful nod. A good show by the other man, for all accounts.
"Dead ends wouldn't have stopped you if you were serious, though," he said with a wink. "But I'd say the Rathskeller is probably a lot more entertaining than a broken leg. Shall we go there and enjoy not exercising?"
