There was indeed something below the rubble. Something from a time gone by when the Voice had the luxury of creation at her fingertips and was not locked within a cage.
Should Bastien follow his senses, he would find something...entirely odd.
Something that perhaps the world he came from would have made after enough decades had gone by.
At first glance it might appear to be some sort of board, though made of metal. Roughly 4 feet long but only about a foot wide, it is vaguely oval-ish shaped and only about an inch or so thick. It looks entirely elegant in its design, obviously something created by the Voice.
But I wonder what it does?
