Phoebe didn't really get a chance to reply or ask more questions. The sudden appearance of a very naked...well he was certainly male but calling him a man definitely wasn't accurate. She shrieked in shock as her clothes were suddenly removed from her person and she was forced to her knees. Apart from her sisters and mother when she was much much younger, she had never been naked in front of anyone, let alone strangers. Men even! She lifted her hands to try and cover herself even as she was bound and gagged. Terror was the only word to describe what she felt as tears immediately began to stream down her face. Phoebe was innocent in practice but she was a midwife - she knew all about the birds and the bees and she could hazard a guess where this was headed.

Could she not tell how this was going to go down? How was she so calm? Phoebe was just a common girl, who strived to live a normal, good, common life and male divine who appeared out of thin air with the obvious intent to rape her or otherwise torture her was not part of that world view. Even if that hadn't been his intent she still would have been terrified. Phoebe couldn't speak, but with every fiber of her being she hoped, prayed even, to be released unharmed, untouched. She hadn't asked for this, and her curiousity of what religious act Cel had been performing had pulled her into the realm of actions that she had never wanted to be part of.
