Frey
Beholders beware, there are no safe words POSSIBLE SENSITIVITY/TRIGGER WARNING Frey’s watched the scene unfolding with lidded eyes. While a protest might not have been enough to stop Frey from doing as they personally wished (very little did with Frey or any other god, once they set their mind to something) that didn’t mean the mortals couldn’t interpret orders from on high in a manner that didn't compromise those silly laws, norms, and morals, pesky as Frey often found all those. And while Frey had ensnared Phoebe’s mind in their sensual charms, they hadn’t forced Phoebe to feel any particular way towards Celosia. That had been the redhead’s job, to make it good for the blonde. So while Celosia might've succeeded in fulfilling Frey's will, she'd failed in execution. The ends didn't always justify the means, even with gods. Besides, deities were often fickle beings and mortals tangled with them at their peril. ”Whoa whoa whoa, hold on, that’s enough. Aren’t you even going to ask Phoebe what she wants? Wow, you’re into some fucked up shit, hon. Suddenly appearing between the two women, Frey wagged a finger disapprovingly and playfully under Celosia’s nose, voice coming out sickly sweet. ”There’s a right way to do this, you know.” Love and passion freely given and taken was always sweeter than that taken by force. With that in mind, Frey waved their hand. Suddenly all the passion in the room was sucked up as if it had never been. The area around the shrine suddenly felt very, very different and there was a stillness in the air that would not be denied. It was time for Frey to grant the boon and for these mortals to get their first taste of divine judgment. The beauty of the being went from something pleasing to something terrifying to behold; Celosia would find herself on her knees, mute and motionless, before the deity, while Remi and For a long moment, Frey said nothing, simply considering the woman on her knees before them. As their first boon in a good long while, Frey wanted to make it memorable. Finally, they came up with something appropriate and their eyes danced gleefully. ”You did what I asked, or were going to at least, so I shall grant you three gifts. The being smiled, and it was wicked and terrible to see, no doubt searing itself into their memories for all eternity (which the ascended, at least, might be around for). A string of decently sized beads appeared in the god’s hands and they draped the toy around Celosia’s shoulders. ”The first gift are these beads. Stick them up your ass and you’ll be able to feel sexual pleasure. Unfortunately, they’re good for one night only once you put them up there, so better make it count.” That seemed more than fair to Frey, considering how sad an existence ascended must live not being able to have sex and all. The beads would disappear after use. Winking lazily, Frey continued. ”The second gift is that you can keep the whip.” Actually, that was more because Frey was far too lazy to dismiss it than anything else. It was a normal whip, anyway. Then they came to the best part of the present, in Frey’s mind at least. Their grin broadened. ”And, for your final gift, knowledge.” Frey leaned forward to whisper seductively in Celosia’s ear, but all three of them would hear it somehow, clear as day. ”The knowledge that you’re a bad, bad girl, and not in the fun kinky way.” Leaning back, Frey smirked, then gave the group a jaunty wave. ”Ta, loves. And remember, it’s always best to use protection when contacting gods.” With that, Frey would be gone, disappearing in a swirl of rose petals. And they took Celosia’s clothes with them. There was usually a cost involved in praying to the gods, and really, Frey hadn't gotten what they wanted out of this in the end, so they'd extracted at least one last pleasure from the encounter. The thought of Celosia having to parade naked in a walk of shame around this settlement until she reached the place she called home was delightful to Frey. If one of the other two tried to give the redhead an article of clothing, it too would disappear. This whole incident had been kinda fun, but not nearly enough for Frey's tastes, which were extensive. Fools these mortals might be (especially given how little they seemed to know of the gods and yet still felt free to contact them), but Frey hoped they’d come back with a better offer next time. If they did, maybe Frey would appear. Or maybe not. One never knew with gods. |
