Bastien was quite happy to get back to work on the stage after the panic of the moment before. Stopping only to glare at Lucas for daring to nod at Rexanna, he began to pick up where he left off, nail the stage together and making sure the edges lined up with neat precision. He did not have any of Remi's fancy magic, but he had the ability to make things look pleasing, so he took his time to make sure the finishing on the stage was pristine and solid.
When he was done, the stage would have a rim all around the edge made of two delicately laid pieces of wood, flush to the main section. It gave the whole thing a look of being finished, and he was pleased with his work when he stood back.
