"The Wildwood is a rich and living place. The Settlement past the barrier mark... far less so, you'll find." It was a place of drought and monsters, hunger and weariness - or at least, it had been. Whether it would remain that way was yet to be soon, but Jigano hoped that the land would begin to renew and heal itself now that the barrier had fallen, though the process could take years, even lifetimes to complete.
