What does is who you are, and if you wish to make something of yourself in this world.” she said quietly, taking a few steps forward to close the distance between them. ”Because you see, people in Caido are not fond of magic users, and neither are their gods. People like us are rejected – hence the term abandoned.” she said. She paused, tilting her head the other way as she considered him. ”Were you aware of that?”
