"What is it with you and tunnels? I mean, I guess you could try it, but it's gonna take real fucking long and you could just stay here." Adam shrugged. While he wanted to explore, he was content to do it at the pace at which the world revealed itself to them. When he had first arrived he had been desperate to find a way to puncture the barrier, but now? He had things tying him to the little village he'd first landed in.
Adam had no idea what a 'car' was (weird slang for a carriage, maybe?) but he laughed along with Nate, liking the idea of two brothers going about being terrors. It was fun, the start of a story; he had always secretly wished for a sidekick partner-in-crime to travel with.
"Oh, uh...I mean, prolly? But I don't know them. My mum.." He rubbed the back of his neck. "She worked in the brothel, and Ieft pretty young..." Adam let Nate fill in the blanks as he rested back with his hands behind his head.
