NPC 1 hissed with pain as Lucas just escaped his grasp, and clutching nothing but air shocked himself. He fell to his knees, panting for air before trying to rise on unsteady feet. NPC 3 roared in frustration, having just missed the tall one. NPC 2 grinned wickedly, pleased to have at least done something to contribute.
But it seemed it would be for naught. The group of guards stared at Lucas as he suddenly began to speak in a voice most did not recognize. NPC 6 did though, and looked to NPC 4 who the Voice had spoken to. "I won't stand in the way of my goddess and her highness would not want to disrupt the affairs of the gods." she said, the lone ascended in the group. NPC 4 huffed, nodding towards NPC 2, who begrudgingly got off Rexanna.
"Fine, we will leave these people to do your bidding, and inform our Queen that an appropriate apology will be sent." NPC 4 said to the goddess that was using Lucas as a puppet, nodding respectfully. The group of guards quietly retreated, clearly displeased but not willing to anger the divine.
