She grits her teeth harder, struggling against the man that holds her down. Her fireworks are basically useless as it shoots into the underbrush and Rexanna prepares to figure out another way to fight back. She wants to beat the grin off his face, if it’s the last thing she does. But she doesn’t get a chance to, as they speak about the Voice and change their minds – letting her go. Immediately Rexanna stands and steps back, eyes darting to each of the members before they depart. She’s still confused as to which crown they serve.powerful enough to drown you,
She doesn’t have time to ask, not as Lucas returns to normal (what a weird thing to begin with) and she turns to him after offering Vynter a light shrug. As her eyes land on Lucas, and he flashes her a wink she huffs before patting off the dirt and debris from her clothes. “He still doesn’t even know about our rendezvous in the Underground.” She mutters, and despite it all with everything, she finds that Lucas’ company is the same as it had been before the Spire and the fall of the barrier.
Only she realizes she wishes to stay around him when he’s not clutching onto life, ready to devour.
She notices the box and strays a smidge closer to view what might be in it now that everything has calmed down. But as Lucas opens the box, she smirks lightly. “I think I’d like to meet your goddess one day.” She says, humor lacing her voice as she flashes a wink toward Lucas.
