Her voice is gravelly with wry half-humor, though that quickly fades as her face twists and her head drops to her hands. "Ugh- see? That's what I mean. I can't.. Sighing heavily, she runs her hands through her tawny hair, wishing she could vanish away into nothing.Why can't she simply let things go?
