Home again, home again. Two weary men returned to the farm to help each other clean up (nobody wanted to sleep with mud in their hair) and one of their quietly content nights when they moved about the kitchen, preparing a meal together. Afterwards the bard offered to rub Rory's shoulders, in exchange for the hunter brushing his hair afterwards, and they both fell into bed early, worn out from the day's hard labor.
The morning came too soon for Jigano, who rose aching and bleary-eyed, not feeling human again until he'd gone through a series of careful stretches he more commonly used for performance days. At least he was awake enough to help Rory with the morning farm chores, seeing the animals fed and watered for the day before they headed out, and leaving Isuma behind to keep an eye on things. She wasn't the fierce guardian that Ella and Vaya were, but she could come fetch the humans if there was trouble.
Hair braided tightly back, Jigano nodded to Deimos and Remi, imperfectly hiding a yawn - and a groan - as he rested his temple for a final moment against Rory's before pulling his gloves back on and headed for hisdamnable trusty shovel.
Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work they go.
