Then again, Sam was invisible, his Ascended body leaving no scent for Jigano's animal senses to track, and the bard had been in the disguise of Smith, the weather-worn older hunter with his darkened skin and hair. Even if they had crossed paths they wouldn't have recognized each other.
The wedding proved to be a boon in more ways than one, then.
