"He seems better with his hands than with his blade," Jigano mused, deliberately innocent, though the usual humor twinkled in his eyes at the wordplay. "But you've known him a lot longer than I have." He had trouble imagining the pun-loving guildmaster and father of Aoife tumbling into bed with the young spitfire mage, or anyone other than Remi, really. Vanye had died before Jigano had gotten the chance to meet her, so the alchemist was the only one he could easily picture in Ronin's life now.
"Mmm. Then I bow to your wisdom, Edy. It's about time for my afternoon prune juice anyways." He straightened, walking over to join her and offering his arm. "But I can still walk you down the stairs and we can go our separate ways when we hit the street." Her pause earned a raised brow, but he nodded wry agreement. "Yes, there's quite a lot to talk about if we're going to make a stab at this ruling thing. Communication is key, and all that. I think I know just the place, too..."
