And in all fairness, they'd made it through the celebration, through the food and drink (and drink, and drink) and all the way to the guildhall. That in itself was an accomplishment - one that ought to be added to their list of celebrations tonight. The walk and the cool air had done nothing to clear the very inappropriate thoughts that kept invading his mind, often when catching a glimpse of Remi and whilst in the middle of an entirely separate conversation. At least they were home now, or just about.
And he finally had his husband all to himself. Fingers deftly slipping beneath the waist of Remi's pants, Ronin tugged him closer, even as his free hand fumbled for the door of the guildhall. "So, Baron Taliesin." He grinned wickedly. "Do you want to carry me across the threshold, or should I do the honours?"
