She doesn’t know where it is that Wessex is guiding them, but she’s happy to let the older woman take the lead – falling into step beside her as she tells her tale (at least half way) before listening for comments from the Wraith. She reiterates the first comment Rexanna had given, and her head tilts toward the blond woman with a small half smile. “I tried to, but.. Well, truths came out and it turned out I wasn’t 100% royal. He was offended, threw me in the dungeons for a time.” She angles herself toward Wessex, pushing her dark hair back from her right collarbone to show the brand.
“Branded as his property, actually. But I managed to escape before I fell into here. I had been on the run for over six months before I just appeared here.” She gives the Wraith a smile. Something about Rexanna’s ascension has made it easier for her to tell her story, to be able to bring up and explain the world and life she’d lived before. None of it bothered her, none of it mattered anymore – as the Voice had shown her.
Her gaze flits back toward the Queen with a smile at the next comment, a soft snort leaving her. “I was pretty young, actually. Got married when I was eighteen. Became queen when I was twenty. Fled my country when I was twenty-one.” She recalls, head tilting up a bit to look at the moon as she thinks. “That was… Five years ago now. Been awhile.” She shrugs her shoulders and looks back to Wessex with a soft smile.
“But you’re a Natural, right? What do you make of all of it now?” She asks, curious as to what she thinks of the ability to live within a bubble for so many years before having it burst and still being unable to explore the world outside, seemingly unchanged while everything within writhed and collided.
