Once it had made her amused how emotionally invested the mortals could be, winding their lives around those they cared for and refusing to let go. Now it just made her weary and sad. She was guilty of having done the same, for it was only her love for the Fallen Star that made it possible for him to return. Much as she pitied Remi his situation, hers was not so terribly different.
