Her head tilts, listening as Amalia croons to her. And for a moment Kiada thinks perhaps she might try to do it too, until Amalia turns her head to her and asks. Kiada reaches for something, very briefly, before Amalia opens her wings and begins. And Kiada pauses it for a moment to soar down toward the waters edge, where she’d seen more of the birds of prey stop for a drink. She lands by the water, fanning her feathers as she closes her scarlet gaze, pulling and tugging at that same something.
Only… What happens isn’t exactly what she’s expecting.
She expects to see a few vultures in the area, maybe. But the creature that takes its place is her, where wings had once been, fur has replaced it. A golden, bronze hue of fur with dark ears, and her eyes open as she looks down to spot paws of all things. She whips her head to Ama with confusion. “Ama?!” She calls out through their bond, head tilting as she stumbles slightly, trying to get used to the weight of a body that could walk, rather than hop and fly. Ears flickering uncertainly, she opens her new mouth, sharp canine fangs nearly take up her entire mouth.
“Holy shit.” She announces with a purr of laughter.
