From Attuned to Ascended to Ancient, Kiada Njovu-Reyes has been reborn several times throughout her short life, but her fighting spirit has never once been diminished. With beauty, grace and a quick wit, Kiada is the whole package wrapped in an infectious smile. Recent endeavours have found her in the heart of the Hollowed Grounds, aiding the region and bettering it for her new Ancient kin, and whatever she does next, we know it's sure to pack a punch.
Congratulations, Kiada!

Court of the Fallen was created in October of 2018 by Odd, Honey, and Crooked.
Skinning and hosting by the epically talented Kaons, and functionality fanciness by the coding magic of Neowulf. If you ever see either of them around, make sure to show them some love!
The ones that appear when you get anxious. Remi swallowed, caught once again in the strange world of being known, without knowing. Again the alchemist looked Loren over even as the Launceleyn looked away, but nothing sparked familiar. Muscle-memory, if such a thing could be applied to a person, had little efficacy here. Indeed, Remi's shattered eyes were only starting to reveal the barest hints of the blue of Loren's eyes, despite the hours he'd spent once upon a time trying to perfect that not quite stormy-sea shade. "Because...it is you." Remi replied with a sort of wounded and naive honesty. Loren, his first love. Loren, the first man he'd ever dared to let himself want. Loren the man he'd collapsed his morals for, who he'd promised everything to. And of course, Loren, the one who left.
Of course he was anxious.
"No. Not everything." Remi agreed. It was a strange and soul-ruining sort of nostalgia that the alchemist felt then. Not for the first time feeling regret and despair over something he couldn't even remember. It was a void that didn't exist, one which couldn't begin to be filled without tearing a place for it. Invisible scars never healed, after all.
"I am sorry too." The alchemist offered, the feather in his hands twirling faster now. "I...I never meant to lose my memories. I acted foolishly and was punished, but I..." The feather halted as Remi's eyes rose with a soft determination. "..I never meant for this." He added with a resigned sigh, accented words coated with a weary melancholy.
Biting the inside of his cheek as the Launceleyn once again made a play to leave, Remi ran a hand up the side of his own arm, holding it there for a moment as he considered. Ronin's words from not so long ago suddenly rang in his ears. Something like, Go if you like, but only if you want to. Not because you think it's the right thing to do. And so Remi had stayed. That sentiment wasn't entirely appropriate here, not that the alchemist would parrot his husband's words back to a past lover, but something about them resounded strongly.
"If..that is what you want."
