And yet, the Harpy feels nothing but the never ended vibrance of rage brimming beneath the surface of her skins. Her beak clenches, scarlet eyes narrow as she hides within the treetops.

It’s all she can think, but she waits her time. She cannot take it alone, she cannot fight it by herself. She has not won the war with her body, but her mind works the same. Calculating, cool, schematic. And she waits, ivory, ebony, scarlet feathers hidden beneath the dark remaining foliage and snow. And she waits.
