At her name, she paused, blinking at him, looking almost confused. But he wouldn't get a reprieve for long. Her face twisted as she glared and snarled, staring at him with an almost unrecognizing gaze. She screamed in his face as he grabbed her, told her to stop, inky black spittle spattering his face. Her arms flung out, clawing at his face, his throat, legs kicking out towards him, not caring if they fell. Crush the rose, kill the flower, the ugly, hideous flower! The warmth was gone from her eyes as black tears of frustration welled up and rolled down her cheeks. This body was small and weak and useless! But she would fight never the less, shoving back against him, anything to make him fall or step back or let her get close enough to her target.
