Physically, Wessex will stay the same, yes, unless her upgrades alter her. Mentally, however, the woman is in the midst of a large change. Her role in the community demands it. Her goddess demands it. She demands it of herself. It’s too bad she can’t have a blinking neon sign above her, advertising all the change she’s going through and will likely continue to go through. Will she ever be as kind as Amalia? No,Maybe one day Amalia will be able to see what Wessex is trying to become.

The Ascended glances down at the rose in her hand and looks for a place to plant it.
