But whoever those 'some' were, their opinions clearly didn't matter to him. Stumbling as Amalia added momentum to his pull, Ronin snapped his teeth at her and released the staff, skidding into a defensive stance obviously borrowed from whatever soldier's memory remained in his blighted mind.
